UFCSA was founded in 1985 and was initially registered as an UF non-profit student organization with the name of FACSS. Starting 2014, we changed the name of the organization and was officially called as UFCSA.

Our commitment to the UF students are

• to help UF Chinese international students and scholars settled here smoothly and get familiarized to American culture.
• to provide a communication and information sharing service and fund and host fun activities for UF students.
• to promote Chinese culture through hosting cultural performances and events throughout the year, always free and open to the general public.

New Student Orientation - we invite speakers and students to give advice and living tips to the new students

Mid-autumn festival - for this traditional Chinese festival, we have mooncakes to share and student performance to show the audience

Best Singers - a competition for electing the top ten singers with prizes!

Safety and Fraud-prevention Talk, by the Chinese Embassy - help international students learn to identify frauds and protect themselves from harm.

Chinese Spring Festival Gala - this is the biggest event of the year! We have beautiful performances for you and wish everyone a happy new lunar year!

Boardgame Nights, Games Competition - we provide space and games for students to play, relax and make friends. Mostly happens every Friday night at Reitz Union.

Language Exchange - need people to talk to in Chinese/English? Come and learn and practice Chinese/English with native speakers face to face!

佛罗里达大学中国学生会成立于1985年，是正式注册于佛罗里达大学的非营利性学生组织。 学生会原名FACSS，于2014年正式更名为CSA (Chinese Students Association)。

学生会成立的初衷是

• 帮助佛大的华人学生、学者们更好地适应美国的文化和环境，
• 为华人提供交流平台，丰富学生们的课余生活，
• 积极推广并弘扬中华传统文化。

中秋晚会——在这里我们为当地的华人及学生献上我们的传统月饼以及美轮美奂的表演～

十佳歌手——爱唱歌吗？我们会从参赛的选手中海选出16名歌手，再在现场比拼出最终的10个最佳歌手以及冠军！

大使馆安全讲座——大使馆派来的工作人员会给大家讲解如何在海外保护自己，防止上当受骗。

春节联欢晚会——留学在外，春节时期更是格外地想家～为远在他方的你献上我们的表演以及新年的祝福～

桌游夜、电竞比赛——生活少不了游戏和娱乐，我们每周五基本会提供房间让大家放下紧张的学习，在娱乐中交友！

这些精彩纷呈的活动不仅仅集聚起了在UF校园里默默无闻但却同时身怀特长的学生们，也吸引了在甘村的广大华人们，这些传统文化的体现更是让华人学生在UF学校中更具存在感与影响。
